Adding Life to days when days cannot be added to life
Check back early summer of 2024
The Heart of Dying Project has been developing a new community-based volunteer end-of-life doula training to care for individuals and families when an extra cushion of support is needed. Volunteers will be specially trained in non-medical contemplative practices an an end-of-life comfort doula. Once trained each doual will become part of our collective and volunteer within our communities. Our volunteer coordinator will match an individual or group of individuals with a families in need. We expect to have a small pilot program up and running by the end of 2024. For more information please contact

Volunteer EOL Comfort Doulas
It is an absolute human certainty that no one can know their own beauty or perceive a sense of their own worth until it has been reflected back to them in the mirror of another loving, caring, human being.
Community-based end of life comfort doulas offer an extra cushion of support, education, and advocacy throughout the spectrum of a life altering, chronic or terminal illness, ensuring compassionate, quality of life care is available to all.
