We are a group of diverse people who gather in and around Cleveland to discuss death and dying.
The Heart of Dying Project is a community meet-up organized to discuss death and dying. It is not a bereavement group, nor is it group therapy, it is an open discussion offering us an opportunity to explore a taboo subject which we must all face as part of life. It is an informal community gathering with the intention of sharing stories, experiences concerns about death and dying.
~ All Are Welcome ~
~What is the cause of death and suffering? Birth ~
A list of topic questions is available but most of the time the conversation flows naturally. Guest speakers will be part of the mix from time to time. This isn't a class and there will be no beginning or end. It is my hope that through ongoing courageous conversation we might learn to explore and plan for our inevitable deaths while embracing a more expansive appreciation for life.
